The 1878 Log cabin has been straightened. The Stone Chimney and Porch restored. It has been chinked and the broken window panes replaced. A U of Idaho student found the provenance of this cabin in 2007 from journals found onsite. Les Lorang returned the journal of his grandfather John Lorang during the 2020 Reunion. Inside John said, “This caban was first build by Goswin Sievert (John’s neighbor) in the Spring of 1878 and was ocupied by him ontill 1884″
