In 1890, brothers John and Theodore Lorang decided to buy additional property just South of the Ranch. It was owned by John’s friends William and Mary White and when William passed away, Mary sold the land to the Lorang brothers. There was a spring on the property called White Spring and this is when we became White Spring Ranch. John saved all the receipts.
