The first property bought in 1886 from William Dillingham was 160 acres, then brother Theodore and John bought 160 acres from William J. White. In 1892 John and Mary purchased 80 acres from Clayton Jones and preserved the patent Jones had received from the United States government under Benjamin Harrison. Total was 400 acres for a time. Land was latter lost due to road building and mortgages during the Great Depression. Currently it is 243 acres.
