Dreu and Roch Lorang, children of Janet and Dan Lorang. Roch Lorang was raised in the Historical Farmhouse in the Summers and is still helping us today, as well as his son Lance. Dreu passed in an auto accident of 1982.

Janet Shollenberger and Dan Lorang, Janet and Dan Lorang worked very hard to preserve this Historical site and it is all recorded in their letters and journals.

John had just had the excitement of receiving a personal letter from President Franklin Roosevelt after donated 54 pennies for Infantile Paralysis. John later became the beloved Dr. John Lorang of Tekoa, WA.

4th of July picnic, with Lorang, Gesellchen and Mertes cousins. Gertrude Mertes was the mother of Mary Lorang. This is a good part of the group who have their signatures on the 1905 Genesee Quilt.
