This 1898 Genesee News was found as a copy made perhaps in the 1960’s. We later found other copies, but not the original, though the Genesee News contains an article saying that Henry Lorang found the original in 1949. We may find it yet.

John Lorang received and saved many of the Genesee News until 1917, when his son Henry Lorang served in WWI. From 1917 on he saved all of the Genesee News. These were found in the Log cabin and Curio cabin in 2003.
