When Henry Lorang passed away, all of the 2000+ letters, photographs and journals from his bedroom were stored in the new Lean-to addition to the north side of the Curio cabin, built by Dan Lorang and Manfred “Rosie” Rosenberger. Dreu was born in 1969. In the Farm kitchen, sitting on the Majestic stove door. Janet and Dan lived in the Farmhouse in the summers, since 1965. Here Janet had to learn how to cook family dinners on the 1919 wood stove.

When this section of the home was preserved by Dan Lorang, he decided to spray foam all over the c.1873 kitchen and washroom. It worked to preserve the wood. Here is Randy and his father Dave Hoffman, descendants of Barney Lorang, helping to scrape off the last of the foam.
