Peter and Barney Lorang, John’s two eldest, were now going away to college at WSU. This letter was found written in Old German. My husband, Roger Lucas, sent this to a German friend of ours, Marcella Grandpre, who sent it to her mother. Her mother sent it to a priest in Germany and it was translated to English in the 1970’s.
